Base Salary

$190k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, reliable backend services and APIs with cross-functional teams.
Own critical system components from conception through deployment and maintenance.
Apply unit and integration testing practices.
Optimize data processing pipelines and storage solutions.
Integrate third-party services and data sources.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and operational issues.
Evaluate and implement tools and practices that improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering, or 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
Backend development experience with one or more languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, data modeling, and database management.
Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, autonomy, and accountability skills.
Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Flink, Spark, Python, Pydantic, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and startup environments.

Base pay range of $190,000-$210,000 plus equity and benefits.
