Base Salary
$82k - $113k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain AI tools and automations that address business problems.
- Work directly with business users to understand workflows, gather requirements, build prototypes, and iterate based on feedback.
- Document code, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to support quality, usability, and adoption.
- Integrate AI tools with existing business systems and workflows.
- Support software development and maintenance for aerospace applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript or a similar scripting or application language for AI and automation development.
- Basic proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
- Ability to work directly with non-engineering business stakeholders and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Conceptual understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Preferred qualifications include software development internship or cooperative education experience, aerospace and defense exposure, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, API integration, requirements gathering, and familiarity with data structures and development tools.
- Must meet applicable U.S. Government trade-regulation eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or person eligible to obtain required authorizations.
