Principal Software Engineer – Image Signal Processing

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, debug, and maintain core and application-specific embedded software for automotive electronic modules.
- Develop image signal processing software and optimize ISP and GPU programming for compute and visualization tasks.
- Develop camera device drivers and perform camera image-quality tuning for automotive, machine vision, and human vision applications.
- Conduct image-quality metrics, test-pattern, and camera MTF testing.
- Perform hardware/software integration, software configuration management, and full software lifecycle development.
- Develop software in compliance with ASPICE-based Global Engineering Process requirements and ISO 26262 functional safety practices.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed, multidisciplinary product development teams and independently execute software assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in camera drivers, ISP tuning, or related software development.
- Programming experience with C/C++, GPU, ARM architecture, OpenGL ES, OpenVX, and QNX or Linux.
- Experience developing real-time embedded software for multicore SoCs or microcontrollers.
- Experience with OS/BSP, camera device drivers, ISP programming, image-quality metrics, test patterns, and camera MTF testing.
- Experience developing automotive embedded software and complying with formal ASPICE-based processes.
- Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety software development, hardware/software integration, and software configuration management.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing release schedules, multitask, and contribute effectively to multidisciplinary teams.
