Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical vision across intelligent networking, distributed systems, real-time data processing, agentic AI, and machine learning platforms.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Design and build scalable data pipelines, distributed microservices, agentic solutions, and integrations with networking systems.
- Develop high-performance systems that process high-volume, high-velocity real-time data with strong scalability, availability, latency, security, and reliability requirements.
- Mentor engineers, establish technical direction, lead technical discussions, and participate hands-on in design reviews, code reviews, and implementation.
- Improve architecture, engineering processes, system performance, observability, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of software development lifecycle experience, including architecture, design, coding, reviews, testing, build processes, deployment, and production operations.
- At least 7 years of programming experience with a general-purpose language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- At least 3 years of experience leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems and turn them into pragmatic production-ready solutions.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Experience with scalable event-driven microservices, real-time operational or network data, networking or observability systems, and distributed control-plane systems.
- Preferred: Experience building generative AI or agentic systems involving tool use, planning, memory, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and production deployment.
- Preferred: Experience with Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, MapReduce, or comparable distributed data and processing technologies.
