Responsibilities
- Build and operate systems for user data rights management.
- Develop tools and scalable solutions for the Discord Privacy Program.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, and Legal teams for risk assessments.
- Advocate for privacy solutions and act as a subject matter expert.
- Lead privacy incident response efforts and mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Passion for user privacy and data protection.
- 3+ years of experience in Privacy or Security engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a general purpose programming language.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud-based environments.
- Familiarity with threat modeling and data lifecycle management.
- Understanding of privacy regulations like GDPR or CCPA.
