Responsibilities
- Develop, test, release, maintain, and support production services and applications for Matillion products.
- Write code and unit tests through to production release while owning the workflow.
- Collaborate with the broader team and cross-functional partners to deliver team goals and solve business problems.
- Participate in code reviews and research projects exploring future opportunities and technologies.
- Develop knowledge of team domains and architecture while contributing to risk management, decision-making, and improved ways of working.
- Mentor others and continue developing technical and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Proficiency coding in Java and React, with understanding of object-oriented programming, programming best practices, testability, efficiency, observability, scalability, and security.
- Experience implementing Java Spring microservices using container technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with relational database technologies such as Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment using CI/CD tooling and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, with a strong preference for AWS.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and adapt to different technical challenges.
- Understanding of PACT, integration, and end-to-end testing, plus familiarity with Cypress.
