Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom tools and software for embedded and telecommunications systems.
- Develop proofs of concept from discovered vulnerabilities and transition them into maintainable codebases.
- Analyze firmware, software protections, operating system internals, and network protocols.
- Perform reverse engineering and vulnerability research to support cyber capability development.
- Collaborate with software developers, vulnerability researchers, and hardware engineers to deliver mission-ready capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or prototyping applications using low-level programming in Python, C, or C++.
- Applied experience with operating system internals, privilege models, binary memory layout, and network socket programming across IP and TCP.
- Experience reverse engineering x86/ARM binaries or embedded systems using GDB, WinDbg, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
- Preferred: experience analyzing vulnerabilities and memory protections such as ASLR and DEP.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipelines, virtualized test ranges, or firmware and driver development across Linux, Windows, or embedded systems.
- Preferred: understanding of telecommunications systems, access mechanisms, or 5G infrastructure components.
