Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance microservices-based applications using Java technologies.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues using scripts and SQL queries.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and System Analysts on requirements, test automation, and bug fixes.
- Work with deployment and DevOps teams on continuous integration, build automation, and release automation.
- Support production issues and participate in an after-hours duty rotation.
- Deploy applications across various environments.
Requirements
- Experience completing projects using waterfall or Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrable Java and .NET development skills.
- Knowledge of automated software testing, including unit, integration, functional, test-driven, and behavior-driven testing.
- Knowledge of creating packaging and build scripts using MSBuild, Maven, and Docker.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving system resources and application stack traces.
- Experience implementing highly available, high-performance, and secure systems across data centers or hybrid cloud environments is preferred.
