Base Salary
$125k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with operators across sales, service, underwriting, and carrier relations to identify high-leverage operational problems.
- Run operational workflows including underwriter follow-ups, carrier communications, customer calls, and pipeline coordination.
- Prototype and ship AI agents, internal tools, and workflow automations.
- Use SQL, data analysis, and dashboards to measure the business impact of shipped solutions.
- Translate operational pain points into product requirements for engineering.
- Context-switch across functions and take ownership of ambiguous, end-to-end problems.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a high-pace environment such as a startup, operations, consulting, or engineering.
- Track record of building and shipping production internal tools, automations, or workflows end-to-end.
- Experience running customer-facing, process-heavy, or operational work.
- Comfort with SQL and at least one of Python or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate immediately.
- Preferred: experience with LLMs, AI agents, or voice AI; insurance, fintech, or another regulated industry; startup or founder experience; solutions engineering, operations, or customer success.
