Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend software applications using Java.
- Create features, capabilities, and software modules that enhance product functionality and user experience.
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design, architectural decisions, task estimation, and project planning.
- Investigate, document, and resolve software defects while improving system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, product stakeholders, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established development standards and best practices.
- Support system optimization, troubleshooting, application enhancements, and continuous software quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing backend applications using Java 8 or newer.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design practices.
- Knowledge of the Java ecosystem, including containers, class loaders, data structures, and streams.
- Understanding of SQL, relational database concepts, client-side and server-side architectures, Java concurrency, multithreaded programming, and JVM architecture.
- Experience with build and dependency management tools such as Maven or Ant.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with scalable enterprise applications, performance tuning, source control, automated testing, continuous integration, cloud technologies, containerized environments, and distributed teams.
- Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and agile practices is preferred.
