Base Salary
$55k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and support applications using Angular, Spring Boot, Java, and Python.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and senior developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Build and consume REST APIs and microservices and deploy applications on AWS.
- Write secure, maintainable, documented code aligned with standards for performance, reliability, logging, and error handling.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, testing, troubleshooting, and code quality.
- Participate in code reviews, system integration, testing, deployment, CI/CD, documentation, and production support.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Recommend improvements to application performance, operational efficiency, and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 to 3 years of software development experience, including internships, co-op programs, personal projects, or professional experience.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Spring Boot, Python, Git, and web application or API development.
- Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, modern application architectures, software testing, debugging, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps concepts.
- Experience or demonstrated proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering practices.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, relational and NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, secure coding, and AI-enabled applications or Generative AI integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, customer-focus, and troubleshooting skills.
