Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, deploy, and operate Watchtower services that secure and maintain Amazon WorkSpaces for humans and AI agents.
  • Develop telemetry, health monitoring, secure inbound and outbound communications, automation, and operational capabilities.
  • Build systems supporting operating systems, instances, applications, identity providers, and autonomous troubleshooting.
  • Drive system optimizations, operational excellence, development practices, and knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 2 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience and 2 years of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and experience delivering complex software systems to customers.
