Base Salary
$145k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and evolve cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Automate and monitor the Kubernetes-based platform and deployment pipelines.
- Develop infrastructure tooling that improves repeatability, safety, and visibility.
- Build CLI tools, shared libraries, and scripts that improve developer workflows.
- Improve build, test, and deployment loops and help define standards for service configuration, secrets management, and application observability.
- Implement dashboards, alerts, and runbooks for platform-owned services.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and follow-up improvements.
- Propose and prototype changes that improve availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with platform engineers and cross-functional stakeholders while taking ownership of technical projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience working with cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable code in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Go, Python, Bash, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience using AI agents such as Claude Code for engineering tasks, including directing agents with clear context, constraints, and planning.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Understanding of version control workflows and regular participation in code reviews.
- Strong communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to grow into additional architectural and operational responsibilities.
