Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software features across the full lifecycle.
- Build and operate distributed systems, real-time data pipelines, and ML-powered sentiment analysis capabilities.
- Diagnose production failures, eliminate root causes, improve performance, and resolve scalability and reliability issues.
- Collaborate with customers, product managers, and UX designers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Contribute to architecture, technical strategy, documentation, operational procedures, and future technical investments.
- Improve testing and deployment processes, observability, error handling, and resource efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide feedback through code reviews and technical guidance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

- The base salary range is $143,700.00-$194,400.00 USD annually for Seattle, Washington.
