Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of key projects within a global strategic index technology program.
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications and components supporting the Strategic Index desk.
  • Collaborate with technology teams, business users, quantitative research, structuring, trading, sales, and middle office stakeholders.
  • Take work from requirements through production release and support using approved development toolchains and automation.
  • Drive adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices with validation for secure, correct, and performant outputs.
  • Champion testing, quality, operational excellence, secure delivery, and continuous platform improvement.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in object-oriented or functional programming using Python, Java, C++, or C# and willingness to become proficient in Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested software in a controlled environment.
  • Ability to lead enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development practices across coding, review, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Ability to own deliverables from requirements through production support and collaborate with global, cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience developing finance or investment banking applications such as market risk, profit and loss, or financial modeling.
  • Preferred knowledge of equities, foreign exchange, credit, rates, commodities, or index and portfolio analytics.
