Responsibilities
- Build high-performance, low-latency C++ applications for trading.
- Collaborate with traders, FPGA engineers, DevOps, system administrators, network engineers, and other teams.
- Write maintainable code and participate in code reviews, debugging, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Lead system-design discussions and align technical solutions with business and technology goals.
- Optimize software deployments with system administrators and network engineers.
- Mentor team members and improve software development processes.
Requirements
- Experience developing in C++ and building multithreaded, high-performance applications on Linux.
- Demonstrated system-level architecture experience in trading or other performance-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of low-latency techniques, system profiling, and tuning.
- Previous experience as a people manager or technical lead, including leading engineers across projects.
- Familiarity with advanced debugging tools and performance-analysis techniques.
- Understanding of financial products and trading systems is preferred.
