Responsibilities
- Build and own platform test automation to enable continuous quality assurance.
- Own team quality targets, including automated detection of 80% of quality issues and release quality goals.
- Establish and maintain a prioritized QA roadmap aligned with VP Engineering objectives.
- Create and maintain a shared quality playbook covering risk categories, acceptance criteria, and test requirements.
- Reduce average bug resolution time through joint triage, severity evaluation, and validation processes.
Requirements
- At least six years of QA experience in complex technical software such as CAE, CAD, PLM, simulation, or similarly demanding systems.
- Applied depth with AI and agentic tools for QA and test automation.
- Field knowledge in mechanical engineering, physics, and machine learning.
- Solid technical foundations in automation, Python scripting, Playwright automation, and software performance testing.
- Ability to reason deeply about product behavior and influence QA decisions.
- Clear, pragmatic collaboration with developers and leadership.
- End-to-end ownership of quality problems and user experience outcomes.
