Base Salary
$104k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Peraton[x] and the Optional AI Platform, including agentic operations, GPU Resource Units, and NIST AI RMF-governed operations.
- Lead engineering, deployment, and operations for the Enterprise Control Plane and its IF-1 through IF-7 modules.
- Deliver zero-touch infrastructure provisioning through Terraform, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and GitLab CI.
- Manage AIOps telemetry and observability using Splunk ITSI, Dynatrace Davis AI, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Lead ServiceNow IntegrationHub, CSDM, ITOM, MSI accelerator, and schema-validated flow integrations.
- Manage auto-provisioning accuracy, automation savings reconciliation, the Annual Automation Plan, and service evolution.
- Manage Kafka/Avro CI synchronization and REST/JSON integrations.
- Drive AI governance, ML forecasting, enterprise automation, and continuous improvement for the Texas Private Cloud program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and eight years of experience, or twelve years of experience with a high school diploma.
- At least eight years of infrastructure automation and DevOps/MLOps engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and GitLab CI/CD pipeline engineering.
- Experience operating AIOps platforms such as Splunk ITSI and Dynatrace Davis AI.
- Experience with ML forecasting for capacity management and SLA breach prediction.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration and development, including IntegrationHub, CSDM, and ITOM.
- Experience with AI/ML operations, including NVIDIA AI Enterprise, OpenShift, and GPU scheduling, preferred.
- Familiarity with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, government IT automation, enterprise observability, Kubernetes, GPU infrastructure, and AI governance is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.
- Must be located in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area or San Angelo, Texas as applicable.
Benefits
- Target salary range is $104,000–$166,000, with potential eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus.
- The role is tied to the Texas Private Cloud program and requires Austin, Texas metropolitan area or applicable San Angelo, Texas location.
