Base Salary
$171k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ML techniques, algorithms, frameworks, and optimization.
- Conduct ML experiments, analyze results, tune models, and use current ML technologies.
- Write hands-on code throughout the development lifecycle, from proof of concept through production deployment.
- Optimize system accuracy and performance by identifying and resolving inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Develop LLM, AI-agent, and generative AI capabilities and integrate them into the ML platform.
- Collaborate with product, data engineering, software engineering, and ML teams to deliver production solutions.
- Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
Requirements
- STEM degree.
- At least 2–3 years of applied machine learning experience.
- At least 2–3 years of experience with a programming language such as Python, Java, C, or C++; intermediate Python proficiency is required.
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning methods.
- Ability to complete projects with limited supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, communication, and teamwork.
- Demonstrated leadership working with engineers, product managers, and other ML practitioners.
- Preferred: deep understanding of LLM techniques, including agents, planning, and reasoning.
- Preferred: experience building and deploying ML models on cloud platforms such as AWS, including SageMaker and EKS.
