Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable native Android applications and mobile features used by millions of users.
- Drive technical decisions involving mobile architecture, API design, performance, and offline/network resiliency.
- Partner with Product Management, Design, and Backend Engineering to deliver intuitive mobile experiences.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while contributing to reviews, testing, security, and monitoring standards.
- Apply AI coding tools and build repeatable AI-assisted development workflows.
- Use modern development tools and automated mobile delivery pipelines to support rapid iteration.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building, shipping, or maintaining production native Android applications.
- Strong knowledge of mobile system design, clean architecture, memory management, testing, and performance tuning.
- Ability to apply AI coding tools and continuously improve engineering productivity.
- Ability to own end-to-end features and drive execution independently.
- Preferred experience with Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or Gradle automation for mobile delivery.
- Preferred familiarity with analytics, feature flagging, experimentation, shared mobile frameworks, or design systems.
- English and Mandarin proficiency is beneficial for collaboration with global and cross-functional teams.
