Base Salary
$120k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test strategies and plans for complex, data-driven web applications.
- Ensure functional parity and backward compatibility between legacy and modernized systems.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, risks, ambiguities, edge cases, and regression impacts.
- Design, write, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests, including end-to-end, functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
- Validate API integrations and data flows between frontend and backend systems.
- Document test results, track defects, verify fixes, and support troubleshooting of pre-production and production issues.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage, reliability, standards, and processes.
- Collaborate with Product, Business Analysts, Frontend and Backend Engineers, UX, and client stakeholders throughout Agile delivery.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, release validation, and readiness activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of Quality Assurance experience with web-based or enterprise applications.
- Experience testing complex, data-driven systems and performing both manual and automated testing.
- Ability to obtain and retain a public trust level security clearance.
- Experience validating requirements and identifying development lifecycle gaps early.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred experience supporting federal government or large enterprise systems and systems requiring legacy parity or backward compatibility.
- Preferred experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST APIs, backend services, Git, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments is preferred.
