Responsibilities
- Develop perception systems for robot navigation and interaction in real-world environments.
- Work on components, datasets, and evaluation for vision-language-action or multimodal models.
- Run and analyze experiments using existing pipelines.
- Improve data quality through data curation and labeling.
- Explore scene understanding, 3D perception, spatial reasoning, and navigation methods.
- Prototype ideas and integrate models into robotic platforms.
- Build a system that creates a shared 3D representation from two recordings and detects moved, added, or removed objects or regions.
- Describe detected scene changes using semantic labels or natural language.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
- Strong foundations in machine learning and/or computer vision.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch and training machine learning models.
- Experience running experiments and interpreting results.
- Interest in multimodal models, 3D vision, spatial reasoning, navigation, or embodied AI.
- Ability to take ownership and iterate with guidance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a research-driven, fast-moving environment.
- Submit a working codebase with clear run instructions, example inputs and outputs, and optionally a design-and-tradeoffs note.
