Responsibilities
- Collaborate with full-time employee mentors on real-world machine learning projects.
- Explore open-ended machine learning questions and build new ML systems or applications.
- Experiment with machine learning on noisy financial data.
- Learn and work with Jane Street’s GPU cluster.
- Complete technical coding and ML engineering interviews as part of the selection process.
Requirements
- Be an undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD student.
- Have practical experience training an ML model, working on an ML library, or optimizing an ML workflow.
- Be a strong programmer with a passion for technology.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, collaboration, humility, and eagerness to learn.
- Be fluent in English.
