Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize SAP MM processes including procure-to-pay, purchasing documents, source lists, quota arrangements, vendor management, inventory movements, material master data, release strategies, and pricing.
- Support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare.
- Integrate SAP MM with SD, FI, PP, QM, and external supplier systems using standard APIs, IDocs, and middleware.
- Use AI copilots and pre-built AI services for requirements interpretation, documentation, testing, regression analysis, data validation, diagnostics, and process insights.
- Ensure procurement governance, audit policies, material master standards, and operational controls are followed.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, finance, production, quality, and integration teams on solution delivery and process optimization.
- Create reusable templates, checklists, and AI-augmented best practices for SAP MM configuration and testing.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong SAP MM expertise covering procure-to-pay, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, inventory management, material master, vendor master, goods movements, and release strategies.
- Familiarity with SAP MM integration across SD, FI, PP, and QM, including IDocs, outputs, pricing procedures, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators.
- Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows without requiring custom AI model building.
- Understanding of responsible AI usage, data quality impacts, and AI limitations in procurement contexts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- SAP MM Certification in S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement is preferred.
- Experience with Ariba, Fieldglass, or other procurement platforms is preferred.
- Exposure to warehouse or logistics processes such as WM or EWM is preferred.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Tricentis is preferred.
