Responsibilities
- Lead post-sales software implementation projects across the full project lifecycle, from defining requirements through design, development, and production implementation.
- Develop custom software solutions and relational data models on the Appian platform.
- Gather functional and technical requirements by working with client business users and technical teams.
- Build integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, JDBC connections, and web services.
- Lead and mentor consultants through fast-paced software implementations and help develop small teams.
- Collaborate with clients throughout the software development lifecycle and enable them to independently build process applications.
- Apply software testing practices, including automated test suites within continuous integration frameworks.
Requirements
- 7+ years of overall IT experience and 5+ years of hands-on Appian technical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience leading small teams through post-sale software implementations and mentoring or developing others.
- Ability to define business processes and gather functional and technical system requirements with clients.
- Basic object-oriented programming knowledge, relational database and data modeling experience, and SQL skills including queries, joins, and views.
- Experience with APIs, REST, SOAP, JDBC connections, and web services.
- Understanding of software testing practices and automated test suites; familiarity with AWS, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Machine Learning, Google Cloud, Application Integration, Database, Developer Tools, Management & Governance, and Elastic Containers is preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% to support customer engagements.
