Base Salary
$160k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Independently scope, design, and ship features across the stack.
- Make architectural decisions balancing long-term maintainability with immediate delivery pressure.
- Identify and resolve technical blockers proactively.
- Translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- Articulate trade-offs between technical approaches.
- Work effectively when requirements are unclear or changing.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code.
- Provide thoughtful code review feedback.
- Actively use AI tools to accelerate development velocity.
- Identify opportunities for AI to improve product features.
Requirements
- 3+ years building production software systems.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, Go, etc.).
- Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and web technologies.
- Experience working effectively with product managers and cross-functional partners.
- Proven ability to work on complex problems without constant direction.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Active experimentation with AI development tools.
- Interest in fintech or mission-driven companies is a plus.
