Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and support scalable cloud-native applications, microservices, and REST APIs using Node.js.
- Build serverless and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, AWS IoT Core, and IoT Device Management.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
- Implement cloud security through IAM, access controls, monitoring, logging, and security best practices.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
- Drive engineering excellence through test-driven development, clean code, maintainable design, and quality standards.
- Own features and modules independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5–12 years of software development experience, including 5 or more years of hands-on AWS experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, microservices architecture, REST API development, cloud-native applications, and serverless systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, AWS IoT Core, and IoT Device Management.
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines, automation, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and highly available solutions.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS, containerization, Amazon ECR, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, performance optimization, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
- Exposure to AWS Bedrock, generative AI, LLM-based applications, AWS IoT solutions, Device Management, Device Shadows, and IoT integrations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating cross-functionally, managing stakeholders, and providing technical mentoring.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to clean code, maintainable architecture, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement.
