Responsibilities
- Independently design, implement, lead, and test scalable full-stack web application features.
- Own critical frontend and backend components across the application stack.
- Debug, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks with limited guidance.
- Optimize code and system architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Translate complex product and technical requirements into clean, efficient, working code.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead complex cross-team code reviews, and help establish quality and performance standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver enterprise SaaS products.
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to the design and implementation of new models and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Typically 8 to 12 years of related professional software development experience.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, time and space complexity, and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend programming with Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or Python.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, end-to-end application communication, databases, and data modeling.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Ability to work independently, exercise judgment on complex issues, solve problems strategically, and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- Willingness to work from Pune, India, with 3–4 days per week in the office.
