
Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Consult with Product to provide application software development services and technical support.
- Develop well-designed, testable, efficient code and integrate components into functional software systems.
- Build, maintain, and enhance Java/Spring Boot microservices and APIs, including features, defect fixes, and production-ready code.
- Develop frontend and backend functionality using Angular, Java, NodeJS, CSS, and JSON.
- Design tests, create automated test cases, maintain documentation, participate in code reviews, and apply security and privacy principles.
- Integrate AI features using inference endpoints, prompt orchestration, RAG flows, and embeddings with guardrails, validation, auditability, and telemetry.
- Design efficient data access, queries, connection-pool tuning, transactional integrity, and error handling for relational databases.
- Support CI/CD builds, tests, artifacts, environment configurations, automated quality gates, and release safety.
- Collaborate with technical leads and product partners on requirements, acceptance criteria, sprint goals, API contracts, ADRs, and readmes.
- Contribute to AI evaluation harnesses covering quality metrics, latency budgets, and failure modes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 5–9 years of hands-on experience building software with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Thorough frontend and backend development experience with Angular, Java, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted coding tools and integration of AI features using responsible-use practices.
- Working knowledge of RDBMS technology such as Oracle and secure, performant data access in services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, application frameworks, containerization, and multiplatform development tools.
- Experience with prompt engineering, verification of generated code, AI guardrails, PII safety, telemetry, deterministic model-call wrappers, traceability, and AI evaluation.
- Prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
