Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and build production-grade end-to-end AI products spanning data ingestion, feature engineering, model training and inference, APIs, web applications, and observability.
- Develop full-stack applications using React, Angular, or Streamlit with Python/FastAPI services and integrate manufacturing, sensor, robotics, and operational data.
- Build digital twin environments and simulation capabilities for fab layouts, autonomous mobile robots, tool stations, and manufacturing systems.
- Integrate LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, robotics platforms, autonomous mobile robots, automation systems, and control systems into production workflows.
- Containerize and deploy AI, robotics, and 3D-rendering services across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Manage GPU-accelerated inference and simulation workloads and optimize performance through caching, batching, quantization, and inference optimization.
- Lead CI/CD, automated releases, monitoring, model evaluation, drift detection, AI lifecycle management, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance strategies.
- Apply Responsible AI, prompt-injection defense, PII/IP protection, model governance, auditability, compliance, and security practices.
- Develop descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics and machine learning, deep learning, and statistical models.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture ownership, code reviews, mentorship, cross-functional influence, and software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, with equivalent industry experience accepted.
- At least 8 years of experience building and shipping production web, software, machine learning, or AI applications end-to-end.
- Expertise in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, scalable software architecture, SQL, and data ingestion and feature engineering pipelines.
- Experience deploying scalable AI applications, APIs, data-driven solutions, distributed data processing platforms, enterprise AI systems, and production AI operations.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and ownership of CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, large-scale computing, GenAI, prompt engineering, function/tool calling, RAG, LLM integration, agentic AI, model evaluation, and Responsible AI.
- Track record of working across software engineering, data science, robotics, manufacturing, automation, and infrastructure teams.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or equivalent experience, semiconductor or advanced manufacturing experience, digital twin and simulation expertise, robotics and autonomous mobile robot integration, ROS/ROS 2, Isaac Sim/Lab, SCADA/FMCS/BMS, and GPU or edge-AI deployment experience.
- Preferred experience includes NVIDIA Omniverse, Gazebo, Unity Robotics Hub, Siemens Tecnomatix, Unreal Engine, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ACC, ReCap, point-cloud processing, photogrammetry, Gaussian splatting, IFC, Revit APIs, SLAM, LiDAR, depth cameras, imitation learning, domain randomization, and sim-to-real transfer.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, ownership, execution, and technical-influence skills are required.
