Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of AI and agentic AI solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, security controls, and platform standards.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications, development tasks, designs, and implementation plans.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across frontend, backend, APIs, LLM orchestration, agent frameworks, and workflow automation.
- Review solution designs, architecture diagrams, data flows, and code contributions while enforcing engineering standards.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems using APIs, MCP, middleware, and secure connectivity patterns.
- Design hybrid AI workflows combining models, prompting, rule engines, middleware, RPA, and human-in-the-loop components.
- Design and maintain RAG systems covering ingestion, embeddings, vector storage, retrieval tuning, and accuracy checks.
- Oversee production performance, monitoring, issue resolution, security, scalability, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Mentor and coach AI and software engineers and drive upskilling in full-stack development, AI integration, and delivery practices.
- Coordinate estimation, sprint planning, prioritization, and resource allocation for the AI engineering team.
- Drive improvements to the marketplace recommender engine, enterprise AI services, and reusable engineering components.
- Evaluate new AI developments through proof-of-concept work and advise on suitable production adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- More than 7 years of hands-on experience delivering full-stack software and AI solutions, including 2 to 3 years in a senior or technical lead capacity supervising engineers.
- Strong full-stack capability across frontend, backend, API design, and systems integration, with proficiency in Python, TypeScript or Node.js, and SQL.
- Experience designing and leading LLM-based and agentic AI systems using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms using RESTful APIs, gRPC, MCP, and secure middleware.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns including OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
- Hands-on experience designing scalable cloud deployments on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Ability to conduct technical reviews, enforce engineering standards, and guide engineers on code quality, architecture, and performance.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex frontend, backend, API, AI model, and middleware issues in production.
- Experience with LLMOps/GenAIOps, MLOps, and DevSecOps.
- Applied R&D experience and the ability to evaluate emerging AI technologies for production use.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Experience building secure, enterprise-grade integrations.
