Responsibilities
- Design, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and deploy Studio 5000 Logix Designer software and related engineering solutions.
- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, testing, and technical planning.
- Apply secure coding and security-by-design principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support threat modeling, security reviews, vulnerability remediation, risk assessments, and security assurance activities.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to integrate security requirements into product designs and implementations.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, security, maintainability, and compliance with secure development standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Typically five years of related experience.
- At least three years of experience developing, testing, and maintaining production software using C++, C#, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with desktop application development, Windows-based software, or automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle practices, common vulnerabilities and mitigations including OWASP Top 10 and CWE, threat modeling, security risk assessments, authentication, authorization, encryption, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with Git-based source control, automated testing, modern C++ practices including C++17 or C++20, DevSecOps practices, and security scanning or software assurance technologies such as SAST, SCA, DAST, and SBOM.
