Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse engineering team delivering software and infrastructure for autonomous-vehicle ML models and software.
- Develop and own large-scale data-analysis and orchestration workflows that identify impacts from ML and software changes.
- Research and develop large-scale data warehousing and analysis capabilities.
- Build high-quality evaluation datasets with annotation specialists.
- Perform statistical error and change analysis to assess model performance and generalization.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across perception and ML teams.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading a small, diverse team supporting a large user base.
- Experience with machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or C++ for high-performance concurrent microservices and platform tooling.
- Deep hands-on experience building production infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience managing containerized workloads at scale with Kubernetes.
- Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing technologies.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is a bonus qualification.
- Knowledge of or hands-on experience with OLAP databases such as ClickHouse is a bonus qualification.
- Autonomous-driving machine learning experience, production model-monitoring statistical techniques, and AI/ML publications or contributions are bonus qualifications.
