Base Salary
$110k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance a multimedia review tool that visually displays, correlates, and reports multimedia data based on metadata and analytic results.
- Integrate ingestion workflows with geographically separated systems and limited-bandwidth environments.
- Integrate analytics to help users efficiently view images and multimedia evidence.
- Lead a team of developers by setting goals, assigning tasks, and driving feature development and issue resolution.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the multimedia review tool codebase.
- Perform system engineering and administration to deploy and maintain the tool across development and operational infrastructures.
- Provide level-of-effort and timing decisions during planning sessions.
- Troubleshoot complex software issues and deliver incremental builds based on agreed requirements.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required, along with an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
- In-depth, recent experience building a petabyte-scale multimedia analysis platform is required.
- Experience developing and maintaining applications that handle petabyte-scale data and high-throughput processing is required.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue is required.
- Experience leading a technical development team and driving projects to completion is required.
- Experience with user interface and user experience design is required.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices is required.
- Strong problem-solving and software troubleshooting skills are required.
- A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field is preferred.
- Eight or more years of software engineering experience are preferred.
- Relevant technical architecture or software engineering certifications are preferred.
