Responsibilities

  • Implement and continuously improve security capabilities across endpoint, identity, network, collaboration, and data protection domains.
  • Deploy, optimize, and govern enterprise security platforms and controls.
  • Build and maintain security automations, integrations, and custom tooling.
  • Improve detection, response, operational resilience, and security engineering outcomes.
  • Partner with infrastructure, workplace, cloud, networking, and engineering teams to embed security by design.
  • Drive Zero Trust implementation through identity controls, least privilege, continuous verification, and network segmentation.
  • Support secure AI adoption through technical guardrails, governance, and risk reduction.
  • Improve data protection and information security throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Contribute to security architecture decisions, standards, tooling evaluations, and process improvements.
  • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex incidents and high-priority security events.
  • Participate in a shared SOC on-call rotation for approximately five weeks annually.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security architectures and controls.
  • Experience implementing security solutions across endpoint, identity, network, and data protection domains.
  • Experience building security automations, integrations, or custom tooling.
  • Strong scripting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in cloud-first and modern enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft security technologies, data protection, data security, privacy, DLP, endpoint security, device management, network security, Zero Trust architectures, email and collaboration security, security automation, orchestration, scripting, IaC, and secure configuration management.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate security requirements into technical controls.
  • Preferred experience with identity, access, and privilege management; PKI and cryptographic controls; and AI security, governance, and risk management.
