Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure services for more than 30 development teams.
- Design and operate end-to-end encryption for service-to-service communication, data at rest, and data in transit.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using GitOps principles.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with development teams on secure integration and smooth operations.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support infrastructure availability and incident response.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across infrastructure, networks, and applications.
- Implement best practices for system security, reliability, and performance.
- Gather requirements and deliver robust platform solutions with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of TLS, PKI, and certificate chains.
- Strong knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric encryption and key rotation.
- Experience in platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with at least one infrastructure-as-code tool or provider.
- Deep expertise in AWS, including EC2, S3, VPC, EKS, ALB/ELB, and Transit Gateway.
- Strong Linux engineering skills covering networking, storage, and operating system fundamentals.
- Understanding of network security fundamentals and experience with CDNs.
- Experience deploying and managing infrastructure through GitOps pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities in complex distributed systems.
- Experience collaborating effectively within a team environment and communicating with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience with CMMC and FedRAMP compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Go or Java, large-scale distributed systems, RabbitMQ or Kafka, cloud security practices, microservices architectures, AWS certifications, or automated certificate rotation services.
