Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure services for more than 30 development teams.
- Design and operate encryption strategies for service-to-service communication, data at rest, and data in transit.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using GitOps principles.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with development teams on secure integration and smooth operations.
- Participate in on-call rotations, monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and support incident response.
- Maintain best practices for system security, reliability, and performance.
- Gather requirements and communicate solutions with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of TLS, PKI, certificate chains, encryption fundamentals, symmetric and asymmetric encryption, and key rotation.
- Experience in platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with at least one infrastructure-as-code tool or provider.
- Deep expertise in Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, VPC, EKS, ALB/ELB, and Transit Gateway.
- Strong Linux engineering skills covering networking, storage, and operating-system fundamentals.
- Understanding of network security fundamentals and experience with CDNs.
- Experience deploying and managing infrastructure through GitOps pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Preferred qualifications include CMMC or FedRAMP experience, Go or Java familiarity, large-scale distributed-systems experience, RabbitMQ or Kafka knowledge, relevant AWS certifications, and automated certificate-rotation experience.
