Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
- Create automation frameworks as needed using Java, Selenium, testing tools, APIs, and software development tooling.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating their outputs.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to identify problems and improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Contribute to secure, resilient, and effective engineering practices within Agile/Scrum teams.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on automation experience with Core Java, Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Cucumber, SoapUI, REST APIs, Eclipse IDE, Maven, Jenkins, IntelliJ, or similar tools.
- Experience creating new automation frameworks and using JIRA or similar tools for test case and defect management.
- Knowledge of software analysis, development, maintenance, improvement, and the overall Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, security, and software quality expectations.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum teams and software engineering practices including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred: exposure to cloud and AI technologies and load testing with JMeter or BlazeMeter.
