Responsibilities
- Design and implement platform features and services using established architectural patterns.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and delivering data to application databases, data warehouses, and other destinations.
- Write maintainable code and own systems within the assigned domain.
- Contribute to system reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Participate in design discussions and provide technical recommendations.
- Review code, share best practices, and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver product outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong experience with data processing, data warehousing, and related tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of Python, AWS Lambda, and Java.
- Ability to integrate AI tools such as Claude Code into daily work.
- At least 5 years of experience designing scalable distributed systems and cloud-based architecture.
- Experience contributing to complex technical initiatives from concept through deployment with clear ownership.
- Strong technical judgment and ability to influence without formal authority.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and improve quality through standards and coaching.
