Base Salary
$119k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain production-ready C++ firmware and software for embedded Linux, bare-metal, and RTOS hardware architectures.
- Develop Python applications, CLI utilities, and automation that interface with embedded devices over Serial, USB, CAN, and Ethernet.
- Implement standards-based communication interfaces exposing telemetry, system states, and error logs to technician HMIs.
- Build self-diagnostic routines, non-volatile fault logging, and state-reporting mechanisms for hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Debug complex issues across the hardware/software boundary using logic analyzers, multimeters, and physical debuggers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of embedded software development experience, with real-time experience preferred.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
- Strong ability to debug complex hardware/software issues using logic analyzers, multimeters, and physical debuggers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
