Base Salary
$113k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze user and client needs to define software requirements for machine components and subsystems.
- Contribute to product and software architecture discussions and promote design consistency across products.
- Identify common issues, risks, and considerations throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop, document, test, validate, and provide quality assurance for production-quality C/C++ software.
- Conduct development walkthroughs and collaborate with embedded software, validation, and systems engineering teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of the software development lifecycle, application system design, and program specifications.
- Experience developing embedded software for RTOS and Linux environments.
- Proficiency with GoogleTest-based unit testing and embedded build-system workflows.
- Strong Python or Bash scripting and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Lauterbach, Rust, open-source libraries, and AI-assisted development tools.
