Base Salary
$191k - $334k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate production-grade multi-agent systems with orchestration, tool use, planning loops, memory, and failure recovery.
- Ground agents in ServiceNow enterprise data using CMDB, Workflow Data Fabric, and Knowledge Graph.
- Build retrieval systems including RAG pipelines, hybrid search, re-ranking, and retrieval evaluation.
- Develop guardrails, observability, human-in-the-loop controls, and compliance infrastructure for safe autonomous systems.
- Integrate and evaluate Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI models across cost, latency, and capability trade-offs.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture ownership, code reviews, mentoring, and raising production AI engineering standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience designing, shipping, and operating production agentic systems, including multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, planning loops, memory, and failure recovery.
- Production-grade Python experience; Go, Java, or C++ systems experience is a plus.
- Experience with React, Node.js, Python, Java, REST, GraphQL, SQL, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI AI SDKs, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, and production model evaluation.
- Production familiarity with RAG, vector stores, hybrid search, and retrieval evaluation metrics.
- Track record of technical leadership, architecture ownership, code quality improvement, and mentoring.
- Preferred: specialization in search and retrieval at scale or MLOps/model observability; published or open-source agentic systems or retrieval work; and production LLM fine-tuning or inference optimization experience.
