Base Salary
$210k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, debug, and troubleshoot Java-based software applications across development and production environments.
- Develop and optimize distributed processing solutions, including MapReduce-based workflows.
- Support scalable, performant, and secure cloud-based architectures.
- Integrate and maintain systems leveraging GhostMachine and QTA technologies.
- Analyze system and user requirements to derive effective software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on robust system design and operational effectiveness.
- Uphold software development standards, best practices, and documentation.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph for the customer.
- Bachelor’s degree and 14 or more years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java development.
- Experience with MapReduce and large-scale data processing frameworks.
- Experience supporting cloud environments and architectures.
- Hands-on experience with GhostMachine and QTA.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and enterprise integration.
- Preferred: experience supporting Intelligence Community or DoD systems, distributed systems, performance tuning, high-throughput environments, or classified and mission-critical environments.
