Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own delivery of scoped software features or models through implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
- Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages while driving the software development lifecycle.
- Design and implement highly scalable backend services.
- Integrate AI/ML components and generative AI tools to improve software capabilities and development efficiency.
- Translate high-level designs into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to maintain software quality and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and success metrics.
- Monitor application performance and support continuous improvement.
- Mentor peers and contribute to technical leadership and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and three years of software engineering or related experience, or five years of software engineering or related experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python, with Java preferred.
- Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices.
- Experience delivering scoped features and models through collaborative, iterative development and continuous integration.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI tools.
- Understanding of platform design, product strategy, and scalable, secure software solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on quality, performance, and customer-centric outcomes.
- Preferred: a relevant master’s degree and one year of software engineering experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
