Responsibilities

Stabilize environments and sites through site design consulting, platform management, capacity planning, analytics, and metrics.
Create and implement dashboards and monitoring systems for applications, service sites, and platforms.
Implement SLAs and SLOs using monitoring systems and operational metrics.
Analyze production metrics, tune performance, troubleshoot priority incidents, and participate in blameless post-mortems.
Perform complex incident response, testing strategy evaluation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to reduce mean time to resolution.
Mentor and train junior team members on infrastructure management and disaster recovery.

Demonstrated knowledge of Linux/RHEL administration, IBM GPFS/Spectrum Scale, Slurm Scheduler administration, shell/Bash scripting, basic Python, Linux networking and security, storage/file systems, Spark, and Jupyter.
Experience with production support, incident resolution, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Preferred experience with IBM Spectrum Conductor, AWS or Azure, Ansible/Python automation, VMware/KVM, Docker/Kubernetes, Oracle/MySQL/Postgres, Tableau/Power BI, and Apache Tomcat administration.
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience.
A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
No required certification or license.

In-office position based at a PNC technology hub in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Birmingham, Denver, or Phoenix.
