Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test frameworks.
- Define QA strategies aligned with sprint cycles and release pipelines.
- Integrate AI and ML tools into QA workflows for test coverage, defect prediction, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to shift quality left.
- Execute and document manual testing for payment terminals, POS devices, and pinpads as needed.
- Analyze test results, identify failure patterns, and improve testing practices.
- Participate in code reviews for test scripts and automation logic.
- Support Mastercard, Visa, and AMEX payment certification processes.
- Document test plans, test cases, certification evidence, and defect reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Robot Framework.
- Experience with API testing tools including Postman or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of BDD, TDD, and risk-based testing methodologies.
- Basic scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in AI/ML-assisted testing tools and approaches.
- English proficiency at B2–C1 level for technical documentation, test reporting, and collaboration.
- Preferred experience with EMV transaction flows, chip card processing, ARQC/ARPC, ISO 8583, payment transaction state management, BTT or similar terminal simulation tools, EMV certification requirements, PCI-DSS, HSM operations, PIN encryption, cryptographic key management, TLV parsers, and host simulators.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, self-direction, and collaboration skills.
