Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, and delivery of scalable Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B ecommerce solutions and Experience Cloud portals.
- Build and customize Experience Cloud websites, storefronts, portals, and self-service experiences using Experience Builder, themes, templates, branding, navigation, and reusable components.
- Own solution architecture for catalogs, pricing, buyer groups, entitlements, cart, checkout, account management, order workflows, and personalized buyer experiences.
- Develop Salesforce commerce and Experience Cloud experiences with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Web Runtime, Flow, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SLDS, and Experience Builder.
- Integrate Salesforce with ERP, payment, tax, search, shipping, inventory, product information, and order management systems using APIs, Platform Events, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
- Lead developers through design reviews, code reviews, estimation, troubleshooting, coaching, and delivery planning.
- Establish Salesforce standards for code quality, security, performance, accessibility, release readiness, platform governance, and governor-limit awareness.
- Analyze and optimize commerce and Experience Cloud implementations for performance, scalability, usability, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Create and maintain solution designs, integration specifications, data models, deployment notes, configuration details, and operational support documentation.
- Monitor Salesforce platform releases and recommend improvements to reduce technical debt and improve customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including leading technical delivery for enterprise Salesforce implementations.
- Hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B ecommerce experience covering storefront configuration, catalogs, pricing, cart, checkout, buyer groups, entitlements, and order workflows.
- Proven experience building custom websites, portals, and self-service experiences with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Experience Builder, custom themes, templates, branding, navigation, and reusable components.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce on Lightning Experience, Experience Cloud, Lightning Web Runtime, and commerce storefront development.
- Experience designing B2B ecommerce capabilities including price books, account hierarchies, reorder workflows, purchase workflows, and order management integrations.
- Advanced proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SLDS, Salesforce data models, security, sharing, and governor limits.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, PIM, OMS, tax, payment, shipping, inventory, search, identity providers, and middleware using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, JSON/XML, and event-driven patterns.
- Ability to lead developers, facilitate technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, estimate work, resolve escalated issues, and guide onshore/offshore teams.
- Understanding of scalable architecture, reusable components, performance tuning, accessibility, secure coding, release management, and Salesforce DevOps.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Azure Repos, Salesforce DX, Azure Pipelines, or equivalent DevOps tooling.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and tools such as Azure Boards or Jira.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce B2B Commerce Developer, Experience Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, or System Architect are highly preferred.
