Responsibilities
- Lead quality strategy across teams, defining testing approaches.
- Define and drive quality standards, including Definition of Done.
- Prioritize involvement based on impact and risk in development.
- Establish and monitor quality metrics for visibility into quality health.
- Lead cross-team quality efforts around integrations and shared flows.
- Build and maintain a system-level understanding for gap identification.
- Guide development teams in test design and coverage decisions.
- Promote effective use of AI in testing and quality processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of QA experience, preferably web-oriented.
- 2+ years of experience as a QA lead or tech lead.
- Strong understanding of modern testing approaches like shift-left and CI/CD.
- Experience in defining testing strategies and improving quality practices.
- Ability to influence design and identify gaps early in development.
- Strong system thinking and understanding of cross-team dependencies.
- Ability to prioritize effectively based on impact and risk.
- Ability to influence teams without direct authority.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks is an advantage.
- Experience in backend/API testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Experience with relational databases is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills in English.
