Application Engineer - Hyperion Financial Management

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end support for Hyperion Financial Management, including data integration, reporting, system maintenance, and financial close activities.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to understand requirements and implement HFM enhancements.
  • Support acquisitions, divestments, internal and external audits, and regular system maintenance activities.
  • Perform updates, patches, configuration changes, troubleshooting, system integration, and performance-tuning activities.
  • Develop and maintain HFM process, procedure, and best-practice documentation.
  • Design and implement new HFM features and enhancements.
  • Create and maintain complex financial reports and provide training and support to end users.

Requirements

  • Proven application engineering experience focused on Hyperion Financial Management, including its architecture, modules, functionalities, data integration, consolidation, and reporting processes.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM products including FCCS, PBCS, Hyperion Planning, and FDMEE.
  • Strong understanding of financial management processes including planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation.
  • Experience integrating HFM with enterprise and ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
  • Ability to use Hyperion Reports, Smart View, and other reporting tools to create complex financial reports.
  • Understanding of HFM application models, metadata structures, dimensions, and hierarchies.
  • Experience with system integration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention-to-detail, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Scrum or Kanban is preferred.
