Responsibilities
- Design, build, troubleshoot, maintain, and monitor enterprise platforms and their hardware, software, network, and cloud components.
- Manage and configure DevOps tools, including API Gateway and Terraform, to support platform processes.
- Administer BMC Control-M 9.X+ and use BMC Workload Change Manager to deploy and manage jobs.
- Develop and maintain automated and orchestrated fulfillment mechanisms for platform services.
- Develop Python and PowerShell scripts for business-critical job functions.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to support a 100% uptime SLA.
- Identify and mitigate security threats and develop security, resiliency, compliance, and infrastructure protection standards and procedures.
- Coordinate technical teams, collaborate with DevOps and production teams, produce high-level design documentation, conduct technical research, and manage relevant vendor relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field plus five years of experience as a Senior Platform Engineer, Senior Technical Lead, or related role; alternatively, seven years of relevant experience with no degree.
- Five years of experience in platform engineering and infrastructure components specific to BMC Control-M 9.X+ Administration.
- Experience managing and maintaining cloud-based environments such as AWS, OIM, and Azure as they relate to Control-M automation.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies, Python and PowerShell scripting, and BMC Workload Change Manager.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work without current or future employment-visa sponsorship.
